Four More Declare

With the January 15th deadline looming, the clock is ticking on underclassmen declarations.  Texas redshirt sophomore S Earl Thomas made his decision to skip his final two years of school in favor of a first round future.

Not surprisingly, USC receiver Damian Williams is entering the draft.

After getting a second round grade, Georgia Tech receiver Demaryius Thomas will jump to the NFL.

South Florida wideout Carlton Mitchell will also enter the draft.

Will Colt McCoy's injury hurt his draft status?  Mel Kiper sees him falling somewhere between late-first to third round.

Look for the Texans to find another running back to compete with Steve Slaton and Arian Foster.

Two More In, Two Out for 2010 Draft

The 2010 offensive tackle class was bolstered a bit when Iowa OT Bryan Bulaga, fresh off a strong showing in the Orange Bowl against projected top ten pick DE Derrick Morgan, declared himself eligible.

South Florida star DE Jason Pierre-Paul becomes a likely first day pick by declaring himself eligible for the draft.  The JUCO transfer didn't play football until his junior year of high school, but managed to lead the Bulls with 6.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss in 2009.

Meanwhile, another top DE prospect with stay in school for another year.  Ohio State monster Cameron Heyward will return to the Buckeyes for one more season.

The Buckeyes will need Heyward, as another Big Ten challenger returns its top tailback.  Penn State's Evan Royster will not try his hand in the pros quite yet, returning to Happy Valley for his senior season.
