Quarterback no one is talking about

Dennis Dixon is a quarterback that is flying under the radar in this years' draft.  He was a front runner for the heisman when a knee injury sidelined him for the year.  With his knee healing faster than expected, look for him to make an impact on the NFL.

Sports Illustraded's Lee Jenkins wrote a good article about former Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon.  Dixon in my opionion has the potential to be a Vince Young type quarterback in the NFL.  If Dixon would not have gotten hurt this past season, he probably would have won the Heisman Trophy and possibly taken Oregon to the national championship.  Dixon is a big, athletic quarterback that has great accuracy and a strong arm.  The biggest question is going to be his knee coming off surgery.  Dixon is projected right now as a 4th round pick and that could be a steal if he ends up being the player he is capable of being.  For more on Dixon and his rehab from a torn ACL, visit SI.com and read the article. It is a very well written article about a player with a lot of potential.
