Consistent punter Brooks ready to take game to next level

Clark Judge of CBS Sports writes about Georgia Tech's Durant Brooks, without a doubt the best punter in the nation. Brooks had a total of 65 punts last year with 33 inside the twenty, and 21 being fair caught. Brooks, winner of the Ray Guy Award, was mentored throughout his high school and college years by Mr. Guy. Who can give a punter better pointers or information about what to expect from the next level than the best punter ever to kick a football professionally. Look for Brooks to make an impact to whichever special team gets him. Last year Brooks had no blocked punts and, more importantly, the average starting point following one of his punts was the 18-yard line.
