Pete Carroll Set to Become Seahawks Head Coach, President




According to the Los Angeles Daily News, USC head coach Pete Carroll has agreed to a five-year, $35 million contract to become the Seattle Seahawks head coach and president.

Pair of Trojans Leaving School Early

USC will lose of couple of impact juniors to the NFL.  Receiver Damian Williams, who earned his college degree in December, will forego his senior season for the NFL along with defensive end Everson Griffen, who elected to declare himself eligible for the draft following the Trojans 24-13 victory over Boston College in the Emerald Bowl last weekend.

Cassel to Wear No. 7 for KC

Newly acquired QB Matt Cassel will wear jersey number 7 for the Kansas City Chiefs.  His previous number, 16, which he wore in New England, was worn by Len Dawson and is retired by Kansas City.

Williams Will Struggle to Make Roster
